We call ourselves “Foresters.”  We are a diverse group of young families, working folks and active retirees who enjoy living in our River Forest neighborhood for its convenient location and natural charm. Foresters include both life long Florida residents and some people new to the area.   (more)

APPRAISALS AND OUR REAL ESTATE VALUES One of the nice things about our neighborhood is . . . Comparables?! While each of our houses is unique in character, appearance, and features, they are all similar in being  custom designed and built with high quality craftsmanship, and with thoughtful site planning and  landscaping in the forest. This works for our individual sense of home as well as neighborliness.  It also has a financial benefit  because for appraisal purposes, our houses are comparable.  With adjustments for features, size, etc.  our houses share high quality and value. Imagine if each of our houses was built where the surroundings were not of such quality and character.   It makes sense that each house would not be valued as highly.
